BIOGRAPHY

With a warm timbre and a keen sense of theatrical storytelling, Adrian Autard brings a compelling blend of vocal finesse and dramatic intuition to his performances. He particularly distinguishes himself in the French and the Mozartian repertoire.

Tenor Adrian Autard was born in France in 1995. After studying violin and voice at the conservatories of Avignon and Marseille, he began vocal studies in 2019 at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) in the class of soprano Prof. KS Linda Watson, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in solo voice. He then continued his training in the Master’s program in Opera, during which he performed the role of Tamino (Die Zauberflöte).

Since 2022, he has appeared as a guest at various festivals and opera houses. His roles include Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Remendado (Carmen), and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). In the 2023/2024 season, he performed at the MusikTheater an der Wien as Contino Belfiore (La finta giardiniera) and Benvolio (Roméo et Juliette). He is a prizewinner of the 6th Concours Opéra Jeunes Espoirs Raymond Duffaut, where he received the award for the best interpretation of the French repertoire, and he is also the recipient of the KS Gabriele Sima Scholarship (2022).
